Webinar on Genetic Testing for Weimaraner Breeders
This webinar was presented by Dr. Noa Safra in 2014 to Weimaraner breeders and lovers. It provides information that allows breeders to use available DNA tests in their breeding programs. Topics addressed include: testing for hyperuricosuria (HUU) and hypomyelination (shakey puppy). The concept of phenotypic testing for inherited disorders is also introduced, although DNA tests remain unavailable.
